Caresse [Knitting Pattern PDF]

Orlane Sucche designed Caresse for Rosy Green Lovely Merino Treat. An elegant cardigan with a tasteful French couture flair, Caresse has lace and cables to give it an air of feminity. Perfect for pairing with dresses.

Caresse is knitted from the top down and uses short rows to add shape to the neckline. The yoke is knit in stocking stitch and followed by easy-to-knit lace and a beautiful cable ribbing. The sleeves are worked in the round, with a choice of ¾ sleeves or long sleeves. Lastly, you pick up stitches along the front edges to knit the front bands with two optional buttonholes.

Size:  XS [S, M1, M2, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5] The pattern is designed with 12.5 – 20 cm (5 - 8 in) positive ease at the bust circumference.

• 3.5 mm (US 4) 80 cm (32 in) circular needle
• 4 mm (US 6) 80 cm (32 in) circular needle
• 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
• 4 mm (US 6) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
