De Rerum Natura Gilliatt

If you are looking for a worsted-weight yarn for autumn/winter projects, look no further than Gilliatt from De Rerum Natura. It's woollen spun lofty and warm yarn with the most beautiful stitch definition. Gilliatt is best described as a workhorse yarn. Suitable for all knitting projects, whether colourwork, cables, lace or plain old stocking stitch! 

Spun from a blend of white French Mérinos d'Arles and black Portuguese merino. Gilliatt is a true European yarn. The fleeces came from France and Portugal. They are washed in either Belgium or Italy, with the final stage of spinning and dyeing done in France.

Offered in natural colours from the blend of brown and white fleeces and in a range of subtly heathered and dyed fleece colours.

This yarn is not superwash-treated. We recommend you wash your knitted fabric in warm water with soap or a suitable detergent and leave it to dry flat, avoiding rubbing or stretching it. If you wish to test the wool programme of your washing machine, we advise you to do so first with your sample.
